Terms of service

The rules for using tapfunnel.pl, TapCheck and the client panel. In force from 23 October 2026.

These terms cover the website, the free TapCheck and the client panel. Paid work — a Foundation Sprint or a retainer — runs under its own written agreement, and where that agreement and these terms differ, the agreement wins. The services are for businesses.

1. Who we are

tapfunnel.pl is run by Tymon Podlaszewski under the brand tapFunnel (“tapFunnel”, “we”, “us”). Main hub: Poland.

2. What these terms cover

These terms are the rules for electronically supplied services within the meaning of the Polish Act of 18 July 2002 on providing services by electronic means. They apply to:

  • The website — reading the pages, Know-how articles, guides and reference material.
  • TapCheck — the free automated AI-readiness check on /free-audit, and the full report we email when you ask for it.
  • Forms and booking — the contact form, audit requests and booking a call.
  • The client panel — the logged-in area for clients at /login.

Paid engagements are governed by the Sprint Agreement or Retainer Agreement you accept before work starts. Nothing on this website is an offer capable of acceptance; prices and scope are agreed in writing.

3. Who can use the services

The services are built for businesses. By submitting a form, running a check or opening an account you confirm that you act for a business and are authorised to do so. If the law of your country gives you mandatory protections as a consumer, or as a sole trader contracting outside your professional field, nothing in these terms takes them away.

4. TapCheck and free checks

  • What it does. TapCheck reads publicly available parts of the domain you enter — pages, robots.txt, llms.txt, structured data and how the site responds to named AI crawlers — and returns a score with the top fixes. If you request the full report, we email it and, within 48 hours, run a small set of buyer questions in an AI answer engine.
  • Your domain. Only check a domain you own or are authorised to assess. A score page for a domain can be opened by anyone with its link.
  • A snapshot, not a guarantee. Results reflect the site and the AI answers at the moment of the check. AI assistants give different answers to the same question on different runs, and they are run by third parties we do not control.
  • Information, not advice. A free check points at problems; it is not a full audit, legal advice or a promise of results. How we measure the paid work is published on /methodology.

5. Technical requirements

You need an internet connection, a current version of Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge with JavaScript and cookies enabled, and an email address to receive reports. The client panel also needs the login details we issue.

6. Starting and ending the service

  • Reading the website starts when you open a page and ends when you leave it.
  • The TapCheck and form services start when you submit the form and end when we have delivered what you asked for.
  • A client panel account lasts while your engagement runs. You can ask us to close it at any time by email; we may close it when the engagement ends or if these terms are broken.

7. Acceptable use

You may not:

  • supply unlawful content, or content that infringes someone else’s rights;
  • run checks automatically, in bulk, or in a way designed to get around the rate limits;
  • scrape, copy or resell TapCheck output or our content as a product or service;
  • try to access parts of the site, the panel or our systems you are not given access to, or interfere with how they work;
  • impersonate another person or company, or submit someone else’s details without their permission.

We may block access, refuse a check or close an account where these rules are broken.

8. Client panel accounts

Keep your login details confidential and tell us straight away if you think someone else has them. You are responsible for what is done with your account until you tell us.

9. Content and intellectual property

  • The website, its text, design, the TapCheck tool, our reports and our methodology belong to tapFunnel or its licensors.
  • You may quote short extracts from our articles and research with attribution and a link to the source page.
  • Reports we send you are yours to use inside your business and to share with your team and advisers.
  • We may use the results of checks in aggregated, anonymised form in our research. We do not publish a company’s name or results without its permission.
  • Third-party figures on the site belong to the companies that published them; each one is named and linked.

10. No guaranteed results

AI assistants, search engines and their ranking and citation systems are operated by third parties and change without notice. We do not guarantee that any company will be mentioned, cited or ranked by any engine, or any particular volume of traffic or leads. What a paid engagement commits to is set out in its agreement.

11. Liability

The website, the Know-how content and TapCheck are provided free of charge and as they are. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of free content or a free check, for interruptions in availability, or for lost profits. Our liability for paid work is set out, and capped, in the agreement for that work. Nothing in these terms limits liability for damage caused intentionally, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Complaints

Send any complaint about the services to contact@tapfunnel.pl with your contact details and a short description of the problem. We reply within 14 days.

13. Personal data

When you submit a form, run a check with your email address or book a call, we process the details you give us to deliver what you asked for and to reply to you, in line with the GDPR. Our privacy policy sets out what we collect, why, who processes it and how long we keep it. You can ask us at any time what we hold about you, and to correct or delete it, by writing to contact@tapfunnel.pl.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the services or the law change. The date at the top shows the version in force. Client panel users are told about material changes by email at least 7 days before they apply.

15. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Polish law. Disputes with businesses go to the common court with jurisdiction over tapFunnel’s seat, unless a written agreement for paid work says otherwise. These terms are written in English, and the English version is the binding one.
